Salary: FTE £47,000 – 50,000

Hours: 21 hours spread over a minimum of 3 days a week.

Location: Kings Cross, London

Contract type: Permanent contract.

Are you an exceptional financial manager who is able to contribute to a strategic challenge in a committed and energised team?

The Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF) is the membership association for foundations and grant-making charities in the UK. For 25 years we have supported trusts and foundations; respecting and safeguarding their independence, and helping them to be effective in the many ways that they use their resources. ACF has been undertaking a step change, building on our strong reputation to become more strategic and proactive. We now need a Head of Resources who will align the resources of ACF with our aims, and complete the strategic change picture.

The Head of Resources will be experienced in leading a financial function. They will need to be an accomplished team player and able to build relationships of trust with staff, trustees and members. They will also enjoy operating beyond finances and will be responsible for the HR, IT and H&S at ACF.

The role offers the opportunity for someone to play a key and progressive role at ACF. The Head of Resources will lead the resource function of ACF in a way that will enable our strategic aims. They will have experience of building the capacity of others to relate to organisational finances and they will be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in our work.
