CLOSED: Association of Charitable Foundations: Network Development Manager (Asylum, Refugee & Migration; Housing and Homelessness Issues)

Salary: FTE £37,620; pro rata £30,096.
Hours: 28 hours spread over a minimum of 4 days a week.
Location: Kings Cross, London
Contract type: Permanent contract. The post is fully funded until the end of April 2017.

The Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF) is the membership association for foundations and grant-making charities in the UK. For 25 years we have supported trusts and foundations; respecting and safeguarding their independence, and helping them to be effective in the many ways that they use their resources. The Network Development Manager will be experienced in building collaborative working relationships with a wide range of organisations and individuals. They will need to be an accomplished facilitator and aware of how networks work, and be both a thought leader and stimulator of ideas. This will be balanced with a practical and hands-on approach. A creative, resourceful self-starter and all rounder will flourish in this role.

The role offers the opportunity for someone to play a pivotal and progressive role at ACF and amongst the UK’s trusts and foundations. The Network Development Manager needs to be committed to and passionate about the role of trusts and foundations in civil society. They will have experience and understanding of social justice and rights generally, and will be able to demonstrate a passion for and a willingness to learn quickly about issues concerning housing/homelessness and asylum, migration and refugees.
