Salary: £25-28,000
Hours: 37 hours per week with some weekend and evening work.

Ragmans Farm is based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Over the past 25 years we have developed a first-rate reputation and expertise on permaculture and sustainability. Our current enterprises include apples and mushroom logs; hosting micro-enterprises; being a “living classroom” for others and hosting individuals and groups to stay on the farm. We’re busy and we want to be even busier, so that we can share our learning with as many people as possible, whether they are attending a course; a workshop or a training event, or visiting us. The Land Manager will be experienced in farm or land management. They will need to be a people person and enjoy managing and sharing knowledge and skills. The Land Manager will be able to see the big picture, able to plan and also be happy to get their hands dirty. A creative, resourceful, entrepreneurial team player and all rounder will flourish in this role.

This new post offers the opportunity for someone to play a key role on the farm. Working closely with the Owner and the General Farm Manager they will lead on the care and management of the land, buildings, orchards, machinery and livestock. They will have experience of land and people management and will be able to demonstrate a passion for our work and a willingness to be flexible.
